Sabbath Bloody Sabbath : A Brum Trip

As much as I pre-whinged, mid-whinged and post-whinged about this Birmingham work trip [there was a whole lotta whingeing y’all], I must say it was so worth it for the bloody fantastic Black Sabbath Exhibition held at the Birmingham’s Museum & Art Gallery!

I was very lucky actually, since the exhibition is actually on its last days, and I managed to go on a weekday – thus avoiding the masses.

So, without anymore fluff let me show you around!

First off, some awesome quotes from the band members, right outside the museum.

Upon my entrance, I must admit that I giggled like a schoolgirl when I saw this :

And then I gasped… that is fucking awesome!!

In the middle of the exhibition, was a huge velvet enclave which contained the below little stands for each band member, with a wee blurb about them, and some of their most iconic items. That was mind-blowingly well done!

Absolutely love this quote, and I must admit until that day, I hadn’t realised the background of the band’s name. Genius!

This section below was so impressive and had some cool purple lighting. In the background ‘War Pigs‘ was playing and it was all so awesome, I felt really immersed in the Black Sabbath universe!

I really needed to read this quote below – I have just turned another year older and I feel like I haven’t been able to fully be Me or express myself as I dream to. So this was a good kick up the arse!

A whole section was dedicated to the fans, and it is so incredible to see how much love some fans have for the band. This dude has a whole ass Black Sabbath living room – bloody brilliant!

Peeps – I am NOT a motorbike fan, but Holy Ozzy, I spent ages around this Harley Davidson. It is INSANE!!

Well here it is, I hope you enjoyed the virtual tour! Personally, I am SO glad I made it; it was such a fantastic exhibition, and gloriously erased my work day. I found it very inspiring, and reading through the background of the band and the members was extremely interesting.

Let me know your thoughts down below!
